Styczynski Motorsports
Architect Bill Styczynski is a regular competitor in SCCA National Competition, driving a Citation Formula V in open wheel road racing competition. Tracks include Road America, Mid-Ohio, Blackhawk, Gingerman, Grattan and the new Autobahn facility in Joliet, Illinois. Bill has also been known to travel to Phoenix Arizona to participate in several events during the winter.
The challenge of preparing and racing a car in wheel-to-wheel competition has been part of Bill's routine since 1978 when he attended his first driver's school in a Formula V. Through the years there have been numerous National and Regional pole positions and victories, the highlight of which was winning the prestigious 2000 June Sprints. Bill has also qualified for the National Championship Runoffs on numerous occasions.
Scott Cornish has been involved as the crew chief of the team car since 1996 and has been a pivotal part of the team's success since joining the Styczynski Motorsports team.
